I am wondering ( those who have had braces removed ) if your teeth look whiter when ?

do your teeth look whiter when the braces come off than what they looked when the braces were on ? did they look whiter than what you thought theyd look ? Thanks for all answers x x x

I had mine FOREVER ago but to me they looked whiter... Sometimes they don't. It depends on the care you take of your teeth. I took good enough care so yeah... Some people whiten their teeth after they get their braces off. I wanted to cause I didn't think they were white, at first, then I realized they were.
Reply:Yes, they looked whiter than I thought they would. I also thought there would be those patches of white on my teeth that the orthodontist was saying there would be, and there wasnt. You still have to brush, and my friend uses whitening strips anyway, but they are actually pretty white when you take them off.
Reply:Yes, when my braces were taken off my orthodontist actually whitened them for me, so they looked much whiter. I also now use crest whitestrips to maintain the whiteness.
