I have blonde hair, meduim skin tone not dark not pale and I have a date tommorow...no time for whitening treatment, what colour should make my teeth look whiter? i can only wear pink tones, nude or a light brown, red looks awful on me :) any opinions would be great
Which lipstick will make my teeth look whiter?
Any lipcolor with blue undertones makes teeth appear whiter. In most drugstores, they even have a brand of gloss formulated for this purpose, with a natural, pink, and slightly purple shade. Or you can go to any makeup counter and ask which of their lipsticks have blue undertones, there is usually a good selection. Everyone is saying red because generally the truest red in a lipstick has blue undertones. You can get other shades with them as well.
If you want to buy a treatment, get Aquafresh trays. they take about 30 mins, and if you do it an hour before your dat you'll still see fairly good results. My teeth looked whiter after one use, just not as white as they did after a week.
Reply:the darker the collor, the whiter your teeth will look
Reply:listerine has this new pre-brushing whitning mouth wash. It's awesome! Try nude colors with a little sparkle. MAC lip glass in nice
Reply:light brown or very pale pink
Reply:well they say the brighter the lipstick the whiter your teeth will look so pinks and reds are the best
Reply:Red is the color to go with, cause it brings out ur smile!
Reply:REd Honey!!
Reply:Darker makes them look brighter. Just be careful the shade doesn't make them look yellow.
Reply:black
Reply:try black
Reply:plum shades are very good to make teeth look whiter
Reply:Ty a suttle shade of red it usually looks good on blondes try dabbing some conceler on your lips before and then lightle dab the lipstick on top so its not a full on colour
Reply:My answer is like your first. The darker your lipstick is, then the whiter your teeth will look.
Reply:I live at Sephora and the beauty experts always recommend lipsticks or glosses with a little bit of blue because they make teeth look whiter. It sounds weird, but maybe look at the ingredients to find one that has a little blue coloring in it..
Reply:Black
Reply:I'd have to agree with most of the responders. A brighter shade, nothing with a yellow undertone. That could include some of your brown shades. Make sure to also wear a brighter colored top.. Nothing TOO neutral, lipstick just is part of the package. Show off your eyes too.
If your teeth are bothering you the most, don't make them stand out....
Reply:Pink tones are perfect for making our teeth look whiter- it should have a "blue" (cool) undertone to it. That means no yellow, orange or beige. Browns are out and corals have a little yellow so they don't work as well. Try a pink, plum or berry. Many makeup lines sort their colors by undertone so read the package or ask the beauty advisor for help. Don't stress and have fun!
Reply:Nude with a touch of pink gloss.
Reply:dont put lipstick on your teeth for god sake you'll look like a right plum
Reply:OMG You have to try crest whitestrips. they totally work!
Reply:Red does make the whitest teeth, but since you can't wear red, go with the brightest TRUE PINK (fushia even) you can find. Don't go brown as it will dull your teeth even more.
There are some reds that might work. Go with WARM REDS and see how they look. Since you are blonde and med tone a warm RED might work. I've tried it ~ and Marilyn Monroe tried it and she looked GREAT !!!
Reply:not true completely- about darker the color, etc
im a makeup artist and if you want your teeth to look whiter
you use a RED lipstick with a lot of blue in it-blue is the key
not literally a BLUE color-but the tones in it
so like a deep/bright red
Reply:RED, it works a charm
Reply:RED!!!!!!!
Reply:red lip gloss
coool
Reply:blue-toned lipsticks make teeth look whiter. Sally Hansen has a lip gloss that makes your teeth look whiter.
Reply:never ever use pale colors!
Reply:Black?
Reply:believe it or not anything with a blue tint to it makes your teeth look whiter. Hard candy do a nice blue gloss (you cant tell its blue but has a tint)
Reply:Try a blue based shade of red or pink, not a yellow based one. Blue based shades cause your teeth to look whiter, yellows (like browns peaches %26amp; bright reds or corals) cause your teeth to look much more yellow than they actually are.
Reply:a slightly darker version of red!
