UR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED !!
Any good home remedies for whiter teeth??
First off, can I compliment your user name? Cute and creative. =)
Now, getting down to business, you probably already know that blueberries, coffee, tea, and tobacco can create stains. But did you know that veggies like celery, carrots, bell peppers (anything with a crunchy texture) can clean your teeth? Strawberries can actually bleach your teeth, and, from what I hear, so can charcoal (I'll pass on that one). Personally, if you're going to eat any foods that can potentially stain, I'd recommend that you follow with a swig of water, and if you've got them on you, one of those "dental veggies".
Be careful with hydrogen peroxide. Especially the undiluted varieties in the brown bottles. It can make your teeth extremely sensitive - I know this from first-hand experience. If you're careful, and you're teeth aren't already super-sensitive, go for it. Definitely start off with a lower concentration than you think you can handle.
*Edit: Baking soda is a little gentler than peroxide. That said, it should still be used in moderation, because it's known to be slightly abrasive. Only use this a few times a week.
Anyways, good luck, and tell us if any of these ideas work!
Reply:Instead of mouthwash, dilute hydrogen peroxide with water (at least half and half) and swish with that every time you eat, drink, smoke, or brush.
Rinse your mouth out well afterwards with just water.
Reply:dont drink t or coffe, and use a smokers toothpaste it lifts stains x
Reply:well if you don't want to go to the dentist try crest white strips they work great and last long too and unlike other whiteners you won't have sensitivity they work great and are around 20 dollars
Reply:use baking soda. like arm%26amp; hammer.
or whatever it's called.
it tastes realllllllly bad but, if you do it everyday for a week, you'll see a difference.

Reply:Hydrogen peroxide is the main ingrediant in the whitening agent that the dentist gives you, or in white strips. But be careful- it can make your teeth VERY sensitive if used n too strong of a solution! Dilute Dilute Dilute!
Reply:It's not really a toothpaste, but eat strawberries and they whiten teeth pretty well. Or take whitening toothpaste and keep it on your teeth for a few minutes. Or use baking soda sprinkled on top of your toothpaste and then rinse with hydrogen peroxide.
You'll see a positive result.
Reply:Twice a day swish your teeth with hydrogen peroxide (DO NOT SWALLOW) for about a minute if you can. then just brush your teeth as usual. I do this every day and I could not believe the difference it has made for me.
I have also heard that if you take foil and shape it to your teeth ; Mix together toothpaste and baking soda and put it in the foil and wear it for a hour or so that it works pretty well, but I have never tryed it good luck.
