is there anything out there that ppl mix with there toothpaste to get them whiter....i just go a root canal and my dentist said that could be causing the discoloration...but still no improvement...i already use peroxide!!! HELP ME!!!!!

Baking powder helps whiten teeth. You can pour some in your hand while brushing and then dip your toothbrush in the baking powder. :)

Reply:root canal teeth tend to discolour and become brittle because there is no blood being supplied to the tooth. The best option is to get a crown on that tooth but that can be quite expensive. thats what the dentist i work for would advise. but give it about three months after your root canal treatment was carried out before starting work on a crown so your dentist can be sure the root canal treatment was succesful. hope that helps
