I have braces. how do i get whiter teeth?
As a orthodontic assistant I want to let you know that you do not want to use anything to whiten your teeth while you have braces. The product that you use cannot get behind the brackets on your teeth...so therefore it will whiten around your brackets and when you have your braces removed you will have yellow squares on your teeth where your brackets were. The best thing you can do it to just brush after every meal and floss. Once your braces are off then you can worry about whitening your teeth.
Reply:try peroxide...just don't get it on your gums...also try a tooth whitening toothpaste
Reply:well i am getting braces too. to keep your teeth white you have to use a special toothbrush found at the drug store.
Reply:i wouldnt whiten my teeth until the braces come off becuase then the part of the tooth that is glued to the braces is going to be yellower. Once you have your braces off i suggest white strips.
Reply:brush

floss

risne with kids act or listerine

DAILY... one day doing this wont help you will see a difference after like 2 days
Reply:Yeah, baking soda is good...you have to use it every night though for a while and brush it onto your teeth. If you want whiter teeth with storebought items, I would wait till your braces come off...both my sister and I did, and mine just came off about two years ago (after they came off my teeth stayed white, too). My sister asked the orthodontist for whitener and he gave her a $100 kit free!
Reply:I currently have braces and I just use the Whitening toothpastes. You can't bleach with them. Baking soda does work good though.
Reply:Just keep them clean while you are in braces. When the braces come off, have your teeth bleached whiter.
