Make teeth whiter?

My teeth are pretty white, but I would love to make them whiter. Do not have the money for strips. Would it be ok to put clorox bleach on them like rub it on them with a q tip? Please, do not answer with stupid comments. I do not know if it would be ok or not. So please do not say anything rude. Im just asking.

Make teeth whiter?
No bleach please, it's dangerous, and your teeth are porous.

Ranked according to affordability:

1. Expensive and FAST-

"Zoom" whitening in your dentist's

office (one visit).

Results in one hour.

Cost $350-$500

Up to 14 shades whiter

2. Mildly Affordable-

Gel Whitening "Trays" made by

your dentist from moldings of your teeth.

64 hours at home

7-14 applications

6 shades whiter

$50+ for the trays %26amp; $44 for the gel

3. Mildly Inexpensive-

Gel Whitening Strips over the counter.

1-2 weeks

14-28 applications

2-3 shades whiter

Cost about $40

4. CHEAP At Home Remedies-

You can usually remove these stains by brushing your teeth with a little bit of baking soda and water. If this doesn't work, your dentist can remove the stains with a professional scrubbing.

Just FYI- Iron supplements can stain your teeth, especially in liquid form. This type of stain is much harder to remove.

Good luck! :)
Reply:Um, my uneducated guess would be a big fat NO. Come on, think about it. You want to have bleach in your mouth? The smell alone, that close to your nose would be dangerous enough. If you're teeth are white don't worry about it. Just go to your dentist twice a year. Look at some celebrities, their teeth are so white it is too much and looks really bad.
Reply:Bleach is poison. That says it all. But you can get hydrogen peroxide and mix it with water like it tells on the bottle....and swoosh with it.
Reply:why would u do that? just save ur money and let a dentist go on ahead do it . Dont kill urself
Reply:I wouldn't advise clorox. Its a chemical not made for human digestion (read the label). I would advise pouring baking on your toothbrush while brushing.
Reply:NO to the bleach!! Definitely not...many people don't realize how dangerous and/or deadly household chemicals can be. I'm sure your teeth are fine, you could always try Crest Whitestrips as they are pretty reasonable (about $40 per box).
Reply:i really heard about the bleach but i dont think it is wise
Reply:Use baking soda, the same kind you put in your fridge. They use it in toothpastes. It helps whitenings teeth. But it's not that great tasting.
