Will brushing your teeth more frequently in a day make my teeth whiter? (Would help you're medically backedup)

Ok well I want to know if brushing my teeth more frequently every day (like more than morning and night) will promote whiter teeth? or would it be in vein? If you are any way sure of your answers with medical knowledge, that'd be great, if you could include a link, even better! Thanks!

No it will not help whiten your teeth as the dinginess is caused by stains. You need a stain remover aka something like crest white strips. Nurse for 33 years here. Think of it as your clothes............if you keep washing them the stain you got from dinner will still be there but if you use a stain remover that will help get the stain out that washing alone won't. Same thing with your teeth.
Reply:You can brush your teeth up to 3 times a day. It's best to do it after breakfast, lunch and dinner with cold water and a good brand toothbrush. Use a safe tooth paste, I mean safe as in a regular tooth paste that combats all oral issues (bad breath, discolouration, sensitivity) personally, I use Colgate 3 in 1.

It's not just brushing your teeth that will give them a healthy whiteness but also flossing daily (only once as you don't want to damage your gums) and use a strong mouthwash after snacking or drinking fizzy drinks or smoking cigarettes/cigars. The more acidic food and drink you consume, the more discoloured your teeth will be.

Hope I've helped!
